Nominate someone you know who is grieving to receive one of 2 gift packages. Details at the end of the article.

Many of us have suffered a major loss in our lives. Usually the loss of a close loved one, but it could also be from the loss of a beloved pet or even the separation from a close friend. Regardless, grief is a powerful emotion that, if left to its own devices, has the potential to create immense pain and trauma in our lives.

Those who know Julie and Kade’s story, know that The Playful Child is an organization born from the devotion of a grieving mother in hopes of reducing grief in others' lives. We are an organization committed to creating a safe and healthy environment in which we all can thrive.

If you or a loved one are dealing with grief in your life today, Julie has thoughtfully prepared a list of books to help those of all ages cope with grief. Feel free to share this with others and bookmark it for future use.
